Exports Manager – Agriculture
- Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers and markets from different countries in the region (Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, and Malawi for a start)
- Drive & execute export strategy for business growth, achieve both revenue and profit targets.
- Relationship mgt with key clients and regulators.
- Optimally service existing export accounts and grow the same as per budget targets.
- Take proactive implement initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to address any issues that slow down export procedures and activities.
- Retain and grow existing clients while developing the new customers and markets.
- Identify and grow new export sales markets for all Agri-Inputs product lines and value proposition.
- Explore opportunities for group for exports.
- Market intelligence gathering on a regular basis and proactive implementation of measures to counter competition driven by customer needs focused on consolidating Agri-Inputs market position.
- Establish and manage distribution channels across all the target export markets.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Sales & Marketing Management or related.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar or related environment
- Excellent management, organizational, and customer service skills; knowledge of export laws and regulations
- Proficiency in ERP & MS Packages is a must.
- Versatile with proven abilities to establish and grow new markets
- Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving capabilities.
- Valid Passport & Clean Class 4 Drivers License.
