Do you have a passion for technology and a knack for solving problems? Sterling Hotels is seeking a qualified and experienced ICT Officer to join their team!
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel’s entire IT infrastructure. You’ll troubleshoot network and computer issues, ensure data security, and provide technical support to staff.
Here’s a closer look at what you’ll be doing:
- Maintain and troubleshoot network and computer problems
- Implement security measures to protect confidential data and systems
- Monitor system performance and optimize settings for fast user response times
- Respond to user support requests via phone, email, and desktop software
- Ensure applications and equipment function efficiently, repairing or replacing peripherals as needed (printers, modems, routers)
- Offer expert advice on selecting the most suitable software, hardware, and other IT solutions
- Assist with high-performance computing tasks
- Take on additional duties assigned by the Finance Manager
Who We’re Looking For:
- A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
