Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above position that has arisen in a dynamic and growing organisation in Harare.
THE JOB
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful applicant will be, amoung other key challenging aspects responsible for:
· Receiving and responding to customer queries, enquiries, sales orders, quotations and
invoicing.
· Handling Customer queries and complaints and updating them on parts on back to order.
· Developing, maintaining and leveraging customer relationships
· Picking parts for customers invoiced through the front counter.
· Market activation of product/parts campaigns for brands visibility and increase sales.
· Developing new business through personal selling/telemarketing to grow market share.
· Monitoring competitor activities and competitor pricing for similar equipment.
· Maintaining record of key customer purchases for sales forecasting.
· Implementing competitive brand market positioning strategies to maximise revenue and
profitability.
· Updating customer prospection database.
· Looking-up part numbers from NGPC Parts catalogue for parts explained by customer.
· Maintaining correct parts stock order levels by implementing minimum reorder levels.
· Receiving and receipting payments made for cash parts purchases.
· Reconciling daily sales figures.
· Generating parts quotations from the system.
· Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
THE PERSON
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
Ø 5 ‘O’ level passes including English and Mathematics/Accounts.
Ø Min of Sales/Marketing Diploma
Ø At least 3 years’ experience in Parts Sales of agriculture and construction equipment.
Ø Clean Class 4 Driver’s License
Ø Pastel or Sage experience an added advantage.
Ø High level of professionalism in dealing with customers.
