STORES CLERK: FINANCE UNIT (1 POST)


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 Receiving of all incoming equipment, materials and supplies from the supplier community; and

 Physically checking the goods supplied if they are conforming to the specifications; and

 Verifying supplier invoice if it is corresponding to the purchase order issued by the institution; and

 Raise the goods received note; and  Issuing of equipment, materials and supplies to various departments and regional campuses; and

 Updating of inventory control records; and

 Recommend obsolete and redundant inventory items to be disposed; and

 Participating in periodic stock takes; and

 Ensuring that the inventory section is clean and tidy at all the times; and


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


 National Certificate/Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Stores Management

 Five (5) Ordinary level subjects including English Language.

 One (1) year relevant working experience
