World Education Inc. / Bantwana (WEI/B) is an international non-governmental organization working towards social change for vulnerable children, women, families and communities in Zimbabwe. Through partnerships with national and local governments as well as local community-based and faith-based organisations, WEI/B works to build the human resource capacity needed for Zimbabwe to take ownership and leadership of sustained systems that are critical for delivering child protection, social protection, education and health services to its beneficiaries. Having been in operation in the country since 2008, WEI/B leverages its extensive knowledge of Zimbabwe’s OVC context and operational landscape to address the long-term needs of vulnerable children and their families. Under the Spotlight Initiative, WEI/B will be supporting the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare (MoPSLSW) to strengthen the National Case Management System (NCMS) for the care and protection of children so that it comprehensively addresses Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Harmful Practices (HPs). To do this WEI/B will be working closely with the MoPSLSW to address social norms that perpetuate SGBV and HPs; deliver quality essential services in a coordinated manner and strengthen the capacity of government departments and CSOs to collect, store, analyze and use data for effective decision making. To successfully run this program, World Education Inc / Bantwana will be recruiting to fill the position of SGBV Case Management Coordinator to support the coordination of program activities. Position Summary Reporting to the National Coordinator the SGBV Coordinator will work to improve quality and coordination of social protection service delivery to SGBV survivors and families. Working within the NCMS framework, s/he will develop and lead the implementation of a technically sound, well mainstreamed gender based violence prevention and response strategy on behalf of WEI and its partner organizations. Major Responsibilities Develop proposals, budgets and workplans for SGBV programmes; Oversee the implementation and coordination of SGBV programme activities; Provide technical support to districts and provinces on programming for SGBV services; Conduct capacity building workshops on SGBV with stakeholders in communities; Monitor and analyze trends, opportunities and challenges in SGBV programming activities; Oversee the development and strengthening of strategic partnerships with key SGBV stakeholders; Oversee the rollout of the transport voucher system; Oversee the rollout of RBF case management systems; Conduct technical support visits with districts; Consolidate and develop reports. Qualifications and Education Requirements Advanced degree Social Work or any Social Sciences similar qualification. *Specialized studies in gender is a plus; 5 years of professional experience in a similar role; Proven experience in the design, implementation and management of SGBV and case management programs; Experience in working with different stakeholders, preferably including experience in leading coordination efforts; Knowledge of government systems particularly MoPSLSW; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work independently, take initiatives and leadership; Proven ability to develop and maintain partnerships; Excellent writing skills; Partner management skills; Clean class 4 driver’s license
