Description :
A growing and stable Micro Finance company are seeking the services of a senior credit and recoveries officer. This role will be responsible for monitoring loans falling into arrears and ensuring recovery of all amounts. Reporting to the National Sales Manager; the roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing the non-performing loan portfolio daily and taking actions to recover the outstanding loans.
2. Preparing regular reports on the status of non-performing loan accounts for portfolio analysis and subsequent presentation to Management.
3. Building and maintaining rapport with delinquent clients at the same time ensuring that the outstanding amounts are paid.
4. Negotiating settlements with Loan accounts under default as guided by the Credit Policy.
5. Co-ordinating with external debt collection agencies and get periodic reports from them on cases assigned to them.
6. Keeping updated records of accounts downgraded and providing statistics when necessary.
7. Assisting National Sales Manager in developing & implementing policies and procedures related to collection and recoveries
