Job Summary Project Officer: Family Support Trust Deadline: 24 April 2020 Location: Masvingo About us Family Support Trust is a local non-governmental organization that provides medical and psychosocial support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Harare, Chitungwiza, Mutare, and Beitbridge A local nongovernmental organization that provides medical and psychosocial support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence is looking for a Project Officer to be based in Masvingo Duties And Responsibilities Duties Provide counseling to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence; Following up of cases reported through the hotline; Assessing the psychosocial support needs of survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and providing the necessary support; Awareness raising through different media; Representing the organisation at district meetings; Organizing peer support groups for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence; Holding cases conferencing with different stakeholders Qualifications Social science degree preferably Social Work, Psychology, Sociology; At least 1year experience working on sexual and gender-based violence; Driver’s license a must; Computer literacy a must
