Family Support Trust is a local non-governmental organisation that provides medical and psychosocial support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
Job description
Support the District Project Officer to carry out the following activities: Assisting in conducting therapy sessions for survivors of sexual violence; Assessing the psychosocial support needs of survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and providing the necessary support; Conduct therapy sessions and empowerment initiatives targeting most vulnerable members of the community; Conduct community awareness-raising against sexual and gender-based violence and early child marriages; Representing the organisation at district meetings; Holding cases conferencing with different stakeholders.
Qualifications
Social science degree preferably Social Work, Psychology, Sociology; Ability to fluently communicate in Ndebele is a must; Computer literacy a must.
