We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager responsible for the end to end management of suppliers including sourcing, negotiating, contracting and the day to day management of the contractual and commercial relationships. Procurement Manager Duties
To manage and deliver all required Purchasing activities for the business.
To delegate tasks and supervise the work of procurement agents.
To collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts for products / services are optimally sourced and ensure the expected performance standards, quality and cost.
To manage within a robust, auditable and efficient full ‘Procurement Process’ containing the relevant policy, process and procedures.
To engaging with stakeholders and suppliers to reduce and mitigate supply chain risk or commercial exposure.
To implement and manage an ongoing supplier sourcing strategy able to deliver both current requirements and future products / services.
To implement and manage a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) model able to support continuous improvement throughout the BUSINESS supply chain focussing on performance, quality, delivery and cost.
To be active in regularly performing cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks for key materials and services.
The Successful Procurement Manager Will Have
Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications.
Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment
Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
Contract management and supplier experience
