Exciting remote working opportunity to thrive as a Principal/Head of Pedagogy (Cambridge curriculum) for our international EdTech Company. International applications are welcome.
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
The successful candidate will play an integral part in continuing to build and implement our products, providing leadership and expertise in the EdTech space. The individual will continue to pursue our mission of personalised education, with a holistic focus on our learners.
The Principal is required to run the end-to-end educational requirements for Cambrilearn. This requires a thorough understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and the certification required to provide stellar education to our student base.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Innovation
Spearhead constant innovation and idea generation in order to move the business forward
Develop and execute the company’s business/product strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
Management
Thorough knowledge and experience of teaching and leading teachers and content developers
Develop, execute, and monitor KPIS of the Pedagogy team in collaboration with the HR team
Attract, Recruit and Retain employees in collaboration with the HR team
Strong leadership and staff engagement with pedagogy teams
A continuous effort towards growing and maintaining the company culture with the consideration of staff being allocated across the world
Content development & Quality
Ability to create content aligned to a curriculum
Oversee and manage all quality related requirements in terms of any Pedagogy. This includes the quality of the content as well as the quality of the teaching.
Monthly Pedagogy reports to be provided to all exco members to aid decision making ability across the business
Continuous improvement plans to be kept up to date and monitored
Keeping abreast of latest pedagogy standards as well as international trends
Working closely with the development team. This will include briefing developers on features (if needed) and conducting thorough user acceptance testing on the platform to ensure we have an excellent user experience
Administration
Create annual budgets

Attract, Recruit and Retain employees in collaboration with the HR team
Ensuring the annual calendar and timetable is up to date
Ensuring that the textbook list is updated
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 10 years of experience in education, with focus on the Cambridge curriculum
Edexcel experience is advantageous
Experience in software as a service (SAAS) is highly advantageous
Education related degree
Strong leadership and strategic skills, minimum 5 years managing team/s
