Walkers Deli & Sausage are building their business and are looking to expand their existing Engineering Team. The site makes high quality sausages, pates and cooked meats and is based in the city centre in Leicester.

The Job Role

You will play a key role in keeping production moving on site which will include both reactive and proactive maintenance of equipment. Working as part of a team you will receive ongoing development, new challenges and the opportunity to put forward your ideas for improvement. We have a strong focus on Health and Safety, which will be key for this role along with upholding food safety and all other relevant legislation whilst carrying out onsite activities. Recording and reporting information is also key for this role to ensure good communications across the team and with stakeholders.

You will be a proactive individual, full on enthusiasm, ready to share your knowledge and learn from others. You will be looking to work with a business as we continue to grow, automate and develop our existing skills.

Must have an Electrical qualification at level 3 NVQ, equivalent or above

Will have experience of fault finding both with and without drawings

Will have relevant experience of working within an FMCG environment

Will have good knowledge of electrical control panels, inverter drives and pneumatic systems

Will be able to use your initiative, keeping stakeholders informed.
