Applications are being invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above mentioned positions which have arisen in a heavy manufacturing company
Key Performance Areas
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator , the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the coordinator in the following
- Planning and overseeing mechanical activities to ensure plant availability
- Maintenance of plant utilities , general machinery , boilers , hydraulic systems , conveyors and water pumps
- Leading and grooming skilled workforce
- Enforcing compliance with S.H.E issues and other factory statutory requirements
- Controlling of repairs and maintenance costs
Key requirements
- A minimum of 5 O Level passes including Mathematics and English
- Class one (1) Journeyman
- At least 8 years working experience , 4 years of which should be at supervisory level
- Experience in timber industry is an added advantage
- Hands on experience in hydraulic systems is a must
- Computer literacy
