On behalf of our associate ZHD Consulting, we are posting this vacancy for an IT Systems SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
The main purpose of this role is to provide Desk side\Back-office support and overall manage and maintain computer systems in good working order. The resource will be responsible for the following:
Duties
Perform telephonic or email support for technical problems
Perform deskside support on user PCs, printers, mobile devices etc.
Perform back-office support on server and networking equipment
Provide customers with accurate information on IT products and services
Develop and implement technical policies and procedures effective in quickly addressing customers’ problems to minimize downtime
Plan and implement necessary hardware\ software upgrades and patches
Act as liaison between the IT unit of an organization and its clients
Prepare and present IT Ops reports for management
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations
Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system
Design, develop and maintain applications/websites for clients
Manage and maintain IT inventory
Key qualifications and Competencies
Degree in Information Systems or relevant certifications
At least 2 years working experience in a similar role
Experience oF working in a networked computer environment
Proficiency in a variety of Application & Operating System Software
Strong organization, planning and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
