Semlex provides government authorities with complete turnkey solutions that secure every aspect of the population identification process. These solutions enable the creation of secure databases to produce and issue identity documents and to check the authenticity of a document with the identity of its legitimate holder.

Duties & Responsibilities

IT duties & responsibilities

  • Organization of technical teams in coordination with management.
  • Manage resources (human and material)
  • Supervises the scheduling of work.
  • Ensures the proper functioning of the company’s computer systems.
  • Participate in the analysis of customer requests in order to validate the operability of requests
  • Interact with the technical management of the head office for the follow-up of improvements and evolutions (internal supplier’s or customer request).
  • Respect the budget.

Production responsibilities

  • Prepare and lead monitoring committees with the client
  • Manage resources (human and material)
  • Anticipate and manage operational risks
  • Interact with the project manager and receive the deliverables before they are put into production
  • Follow up on the results of new releases
  • Suggest improvements to optimise resources in relation to contractual requirements.
  • Set up internal and external reporting
  • Report to the client on technical events
  • Receiving systems before they are put into production
  • Stock management
  • Follow up with the purchasing manager on the ongoing replenishments, shipments and receipts in the stock


Knowledge & Skills required

  • Native English speaker
  • French speaking
  • Management and facilitation of teams and resources
  • Risk mapping
  • Security management
  • Project management
  • Crisis management
  • IT and business culture
  • Knowledge about needs analysis and technical formalization.
  • Knowledge in technical fields (development, database, methodology…) is an asset

Required experience

  • 5 years of experience in the same function
