Leading cement company is looking for a Financial controller, the job will be based at Mooplaats close to Pretoria.

Objectives

• To effectively manage finance functions of the respective Readymix BU and ensure accurate and timeous reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Key Activities

• Understand the production process and analyse fixed and variable cost (trends, variance explanations, waste), Co-ordinate the budgeting process and collate the budget at plant level (incl. CAPEX), Monthly financial reporting, Fixed asset procurement and register maintenance, GL reconciliation, Ensure financial controls and governance are in place, Ensure effective inventory management.

KPIs

• EBITDA
• Working Capital days (creditors days, debtors days, inventory days etc.)-
• On time accurate reporting-
• Compliance and governance

Qualifications

BCom Accounting or Equivelant

Skills

Costing, IFRS, business acumen, conflict management skills, cross Functional Skills, problem solving skills, analytical skills, innovative thinking, personal mastery, inventory management skills, experience of management of at least 5 people.

Knowledge

Manufacturing industry would be an advantage
