Africaid is a community organisation which through its Zvandiri programme, integrates community prevention, treatment, care and support for children, adolescents and young people living with HIV. Works with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) and National AIDS Council in implementing these interventions with funding from USAID, Zim-TTECH, UNICEF, ELMA, READY+, Maruva Trust and ZACH.

Job description

The Finance Associate to work under direct supervision of Grants Accounting Officer, assisting with the following accounting duties; filing of payment vouchers; journals and receipts sequentially; data entries and related updates into the accounting system; tracking of staff advance liquidations; review requisitions for budget availability; review payment requests for completeness; processing of payments; preparing the daily cash book or payments tracking; monthly bank reconciliations; enforcement of finance policy & procedures

Qualifications

The Finance Associate should be studying towards a Degree in Accounting, National Diploma in Accounting, Part B CIS or equivalent qualification; with good analytical and well-defined problem solving skills.
