An Agro business organisation with its Head office in Harare is looking for an experienced Finance and administration officer .This role requires an incumbent who is able to work with minimum supervision , able withstand pressure and meet tight deadlines

Key responsibilities

• Accurately recording all financial transactions in Pastel Partner

• Reconciling bank statements

• Recording and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

• Administration of the payroll

• Participating in financial audits

• Assisting with the implementation of financial policies

• Conducting monthly stock takes

• Keeping financial records updated

• Processing invoices

• Office administration including performing the procurement function

• Assist senior accounting personnel with any tasks conducted within the accounting department.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications and attributes.

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance

• At least 2 years relevant experience in accounting and administration.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and related packages.

• Knowledge of Pastel Partner is a must.

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills

• High level of numeracy as well as excellent attention to detail and be good at problem solving
