Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to work as a Gender Field Officer based in Chimanimani Key Result Areas The Field Officer will contribute to achieving the vision of MeDRA’s Gender Justice work, through a project that addresses Gender Based Violence in the country. The project seeks to strengthen MeDRA’s gender justice work and response to GBV by building the capacity of church and community groups of men, women, girls and boys to address GBV in targeted communities. It will also work to raise awareness of GBV through holding commemorations that increase advocacy for Against Gender Based Violence (AGBV) work. The Officer will mobilise communities especially religious leaders to participate in the programme, provide training and routine monitoring and reporting of the programme to achieve its goal and objectives. The Officer will be based in Chimanimani but will also work in Chipinge District. Qualifications Social science degree; 2 years working experience in a field of gender and development work. A monitoring and evaluation qualification or experience; proven ICT skill in Microsoft programmes. Class 3 and 4 driver’s licence is a must. Working with MCZ or other church related programmes a major advantage
