Reports to: Divisional General Manager
Secondary report to: - Human Resources Director
Major Functions/Accountabilities:
- Designs and implements performance management (KRA’s/KPI’s) and productivity enhancement systems for us.
- Design, implement, and evaluate relevant value-adding training and development policies which focus on outcomes that improve performance.
- Drive our reporting structuring the Company by establishing reporting relationships, developing appropriate job grading parameters and building manpower planning programs
- Determine the effects of trends in the human resources environment, budgeting for and controlling costs of employment to ensure value and attractive ROI on staff costs.
- Champion change in the business through the design and implementation of people strategies to drive business strategy.
- Design and execute overall long-term strategic Human Resources policies and programs.
- Establish creative staff remuneration, motivation, attraction and retention practices.
- Managing corporate industrial relations and providing advisory services to management on all aspects of people and management dynamics as well as relevant employment legislation.
- Drive organizational culture in support of strategic goals and manage associated change processes.

- Strong communication skills.
- Organized and able to work independently.
Computer proficiency: in MS Packages; Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
Salary: Negotiable
Location: Harare based; incumbent will be expected to travel to other locations outside Harare periodically.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources, at least 3 years at management level. A clear understanding of the retail / FMCG industry and Performance Management Systems.
Qualifications:
First Class Social Science Degree or equivalent.
MBA, IPMZ Diploma/HND in Human Resources Management an added advantage.
