Employee Duties & Responsibilities

1) Supervises and coordinates activities of cleaners engaged in cleaning machines, equipment, and work areas at client sites

2) Supervises refilling of all cleaning consumables abiding by set product limits and manufacturer guides

3) Maintains and controls the use of stock including re-ordering

4) Maintains the asset register

5) Ensures all staff wear appropriate PPE

6) Assigns duties and tasks to cleaners and ensures that cleaners are at their workstations on time

7) Conducts frequent monitoring and supervision of tasks and reports weekly to the Directors on emerging issues and any complaints

8) Ensures healthy business relationships between clients and the company by being an ambassador of the company

9) Identifies opportunities to improve our services and to cross sell other solutions to the client

10) Provides bi monthly reports to the Directors on performance of cleaners

11) Supervises cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty

12) Ensures that a first class cleaning service is delivered

13) Reviews work schedules and monitors of all cleaning activities

14) Ensures all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures and adhere to these AT ALL TIMES.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in business, safety and health, hospitality or related field.

• Self-starter, can work independently with minimal supervision

• Team player – ability to motivate others

• Attentive – be able to spot issues on time and mitigate

• Knowledge of cleaning industry including codes, procedures and laws

• Computer savvy
