Duties


Providing needed research administrative support to members of staff and students. Providing research information and record research summaries for university staff. Compiling research information provided by staff and faculty members and organizing it in the form of reports. Coordinating research and postgraduate studies office affairs and events. Processing MPhil and DPhil applications. Maintaining data base of postgraduate students. Preparing notices, memos, and university agendas. Drafting correspondences and preparing presentations. Designing office filing systems and handling office records. Taking and recording minutes of meetings. Serving university committees as may be assigned. Assisting in designing and implementing university policies and procedures. Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies.

Qualifications


The incumbent should possess a minimum of a first degree. A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in related functions.
