ORGANISATION BACKGROUND

Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust(ZIMEFU) is a Non Profit making Organization assisting Vulnerable Orphans and Children in Lupane District.ZIMEFU TRUST focuses on improving the conditions for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in rural areas through the provision of sanitary wear, uniforms, school shoes, stationery and levies payment.Moreover, the organization is also focusing on empowering school going boys,girls and the Community at large through Training and Impacting them with sustainable skills such as making reusable pads to end period poverty in Zimbabwe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

-Recording and Receipting all the organizational funds (direct bank deposits, ecocash and cash)

- Banking of all cash receipts

- Recording of all donations in kind and costing them 

- compilation of payment vouchers (attaching all supporting documents)

-Accounting for all the funds (income and expenditure)

- Compilation of Bank reconciliations

- Compilation of Trial Balances 

- Monthly financial statements preparations

- End of Year Financial Statements preparations

- Preparing Annual Budget

- Recording all Assets for the Organization in the Asset Register Book

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5 O levels including English,Maths and Accounts

-3 A levels

- Studying towards a Degree/ Diploma in Accounting

- Hardworking and able to Learn

- Can work under minimum supervision
