In addition to developing and supporting the strategic and operational capacity of our partner organisations, we will build alliances and knowledge networks, undertake research and analysis to inform decision making and influence local and global policy makers to facilitate and leverage change.
The Field Assistants will work closely with the District Team Leaders in the respective districts. They will assist in facilitating community empowerment and capacity building through linkages and collaboration with partners operating at ward level. The key aspects of the job are field based community organization, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities related to Climate Adaptation for Rural Livelihoods Project in line with the Annual Work Plan.
What We Are Looking For
A diploma/degree in Agriculture/Agribusiness Management/Project Management or relevant qualification; Clean class 3/4 driver’s license; Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle is a must; For Bulilima Ndebele is a must; At least 5 years relevant experience in rural development and agricultural extension; Ability to work with teams, communicate and coordinate with government departments and other agencies at various levels; Knowledge of development issues, trends, challenges and opportunities and implications to community development
