Skills Development Assessment Consultant:
UNICEF is inviting applications from suitable candidates to fill the position of Skills Development Assessment Consultant.
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced degree or equivalent professional qualification in HR Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field
- 10 Years working experience in organizational development, HR management and HR development
- Experience in training analysis and delivery as well as coaching, focusing on strategic alignment to organizational objectives.
- Work experience with the UN would be an asset
- High motivation/commitment to proactively support the team
- Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas in written and oral form
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Excellent report writing and facilitation skills (in English)
Individual Consultancy:
UNICEF Uganda is looking for Individual Consultancy. Applicants with a degree in Advanced university degree may apply on or before September. 23, 2022.
Qualification:
- Advanced university degree in Public Administration, Public Policy/Governance, Development Planning, Program Management, or related fields
- At least eight years’ professional experience, three of which should be at a professional level working with government or development partner agency in the areas of good governance, public administration reform, or community development. Hands-on experience with local governance issues, and support to strengthen local government capacity building would be desirable.
- Good understanding of government systems, procedures and processes in coordination, planning, monitoring, and budget management and oversight at all levels (especially district) is desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including an ability to build rapport with individuals and groups across organizational departments and agencies.
The WASH Program is a major component of the Country Program (or CCPD). The WASH Specialist reports to the Chief of WASH (Level 5) with technical guidance from the WASH Specialist (Level 4).
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: water or sanitation engineering or another relevant technical field.
- Additional relevant post-graduate courses that complement/supplement the main degree are a strong asset.
