UNICEF Program Management Unit for Health Resilience Fund Consultant 

The UNICEF has published a job vacancy announcement onNov. 14, 2022for qualified Zimbabwe’s to fill in the vacant post of Program Management Unit for Health Resilience Fund Consultant to be based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Qualification:

  • Education: An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health/nutrition, pediatric health, family health, health research, global/international health, health policy, health service management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health/nutrition planning and management, health policy, planning and financing, epidemiology, maternal and neonatal health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness at senior management level.
  • Desirable: Prior work experience with UN organization and Government is an asset.
  • Knowledge of a local language will be an added advantage

UNICEF Information Management Specialist-Ethiopia

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • Advanced university degree in the relevant field in computer science or related field such as information systems, information and communication technology, library or geographic sciences, or engineering highly desirable and area relevant to information management.
  • *A first-level university degree with an additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • Formal training in cluster information management is an advantage.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in in the field of data and information management systems and data analysis with UN and/or NGO including information management in the first phase of a major emergency response relevant to the cluster
  • Knowledge and experience in using Adobe and ArcGIS are highly desirable.
  • Proven technical experience in development and use of innovative technology, particularly in the areas of data, humanitarian performance monitoring, use of mobiles and open source, and training in the related field is

UNICEF Consultancy –Kenya

Qualification & Experience:

  • Masters (required) or Advanced Degree (Ph.D. desirable) in the development field, including monitoring and evaluation, statistics, social sciences, computer sciences
  • At least 8 years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in conceptualizing, designing and implementing analytical tools in developing countries
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing development and humanitarian program monitoring tools; good knowledge of development and program issues, especially with children’ issues and UNICEF’s work.
  • Excellent analytical skills and fluency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality analytical tools and reports in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
