UNICEF Zimbabwe is seeking to hire an energetic and enthusiastic Programme Officer (Local Governance) responsible for providing technical support to the development and implementation of the devolution strategy including capacity building of local governments across the vital stages in the delivery of social services, including inclusive planning, budgeting, service delivery, and monitoring and evaluation.

Generic Vacancy Announcement: Supply Chain Specialist
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- An advanced university degree is required in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health Systems, Health Services Development, Public Health, or a related social science field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, at the national and international levels, in public sector supply chain management and systems strengthening functions including setting up of logistics, procurement, and contracting systems, and/or other directly related technical fields is required.
- At least 3 years of Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) and health sector supply chain management experience is required.
- Experience in health procurement processes in particular procurement planning, forecasting, and quantification is considered an asset,
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.

Generic Vacancy Announcement: Immunization Officer
Education: University degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Social Sciences, Medicine, Health, Public Health, Family Health, Child Development, Nursing, or a field relevant to international development assistance in Immunization and Child Survival & Health Care.
Experience: • Two years of relevant professional work experience. Experience working in the UN or other international development organization (for IP).
- Field work experience (for NO).
- Experience in knowledge management.
- Training and experience in social welfare, or Immunization/health care.
- Background/familiarity with Emergency.
Language: Fluency in English is required and Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
