Security Operations Support Officer
Education: Advanced University degree in Security Management, International Relations or Law Enforcement or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses. A diploma obtained from Military/Police Academy with qualifying relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the First University degree.
Experience: Typically one year or more of progressively responsible professional experience in security management (relevant military, policy or corporate) and/or security risk management, with a background and interest in international humanitarian development. Experience in managing support staff.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Good theoretical understanding of security management concepts and principals with a knowledge of best practices, techniques and processes.
• Ability to assimilate a range of information and make basic analyses to support the development of efficient solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to different situations and individuals.
• Ability to contribute to and/or deliver effective briefing and training, assessing participant needs.
• Knowledge of common business principals and processes and the ability to quickly assimilate UN/WFP specific processes and systems.

Learning & Development Consultant
Education:
⦁ University degree in Human Resources, Organizational Design and Development, Learning and Development or a related field or another degree with directly relevant work experience.
Experience:
⦁ Minimum 4 years’ experience in working across all phases of learning design, development and delivery.
⦁ Demonstrated experience as an HR specialist, understanding the complexities of the HR function and the wide range of responsibilities including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, succession planning etc.
⦁ Experience in working for an international organization.
⦁ Work experience in the UN System is desirable
Knowledge & Skills:
⦁ In-depth expertise and application of models of learning design / adult learning theory; learning needs analysis methodologies, learning evaluation methods.
⦁ Strong stakeholder and client relationship skills. Ability to quickly build knowledge and understanding of functional/organizational strategy and translate to learning requirements of employees.
⦁ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and accomplish tasks with follow-through to completion.
⦁ Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence internally with various stakeholders and subject matter experts across business functions, levels and geographical areas.
⦁ Strong creative problems solving skills; agile, flexible and patient; ability to work with ambiguity, constructive approach to overcoming challenges and build consensus across diverse and global teams.

Senior Country Engagement Manager & Gender Specialist
Education/ Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in International Development, Public/International or Global Health, Development Studies, Law, International Relations, and other relevant areas or a Bachelors Degree with additional years experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years progressively responsible professional experience in the public sector, public health, financial risk management, development projects, emergency assistance, or in any other related field.
Knowledge & Skills:
- International experience in Africa, in particular in the Western and Central Africa, or East and Southern Africa is required.
- Experience in dealing with African governments is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical research, writing and communication skills.
- Availability to undertake frequent travel.
Language:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French, including the ability to write clear and concise briefing papers and external communication, strategic operational documents, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in another UN official language (Arabic or Portuguese) is a strong asset.
