Qualifications
The candidate must be a holder of the first degree in African Languages majoring in one of the languages indicated above;
Alternatively, the candidate must be a holder of the first degree in African Languages and should be a first language speaker of any one of the languages above; and
A Masters degree is an added advantage.
Job Description
A Language Assistant works under a supervisor to carry out language consultancy and research for a particular language or portfolio in the Institute. Apart from research and consultancy, a Language Assistant is actively involved in the designing of innovative research proposals for submission to granting agencies to secure funds for the Institute.
