Reporting: The Data Capturer will report to the Assistant Registrar (Admissions).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capturing data in student application forms;
  • Registering students;
  • Filing application forms and offer letters;
  • Maintaining student registration statistics;
  • Attending to student queries; and
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 ‘O’ levels including the English Language;
  • Certificate in Secretarial Studies, Computers or International Computer Driver’s License from a reputable examination board;
  • At least one (1) year of experience working as a data capturer; and
  • Experience working in a university environment will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to: Civil Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates the draw-work during drilling activities and complex manoeuvres.
  • Assist rig down/rig up operations by coordinating and controlling.
  • General drilling rig operation
  • Driving truck-mounted rig to and from work sites
  • Ensure that all reporting routines are followed and that all equipment-related paper works carried out.
  • Fill up a daily drilling report for the activities performed & recording drilling progress.
  • Update the pipe tally book and draft dimensioned drawings of the equipment run in the well. 8. Receives instructions for drilling parameters.
  • Record geological data encountered during work
  • To carry out other general driving and machine operating duties
  • Any other tasks assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience operating drilling Rigs/as a driller
  • Must have a valid drilling-related operating certificate
  • A class 2 driver’s license and Defensive Driving Certificate is a must
  • The individual must have safety, communication & supervisory skills.
  • Must be able to read and write
  • No criminal record
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift & carry heavy tools & supplies
  • The ability to operate other earth-moving equipment is an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and designing front-end website architecture through appealing visual designs;
  • Defining and designing user interactions on web pages, meeting both technical and user needs;
  • Developing back-end website applications;
  • Increasing website traffic through search engine optimisation and other strategies;
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programmes and subsequently developing these modifications;
  • Testing websites across browsers, operating systems and devices;
  • Monitoring online traffic and conversions;
  • Minimising website downtime, debugging pages and fixing broken links or images;
  • Updating the website content and reviewing SEO;
  • Addressing user complaints;
  • Optimising loading speeds and capacity;
  • Maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting servers;
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting web traffic statistics and reviewing content effectiveness;

  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages;

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing, deploying and managing web platforms or content management systems
  • Experience and proficiency with software design and development in a test-driven environment
  • Ability to code websites using HTML, CSS, Javascript, or other web-based programming languages
  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java and PHP
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and MSSQL
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems WordPress, Joomla
  • Familiarity with Graphic Design and Multimedia programming
  • Experience with continuous deployment and automated testing i.e. GIT
  • Good team player
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies; and
  • Excellent communication skills.
