Isibaya Final Episode To Air In April.. Time For Goodbyes
Fans have to brace themselves as beloved televenola Isibaya, is set to go off air in April.
The final episode of Isibaya will air on the second of April 2021 and the show will wrap up for good.
The telenovela has been on TV for 8 years and the curtain will fall, for the final time with a bang.
Isibaya showrunner , Desireé Markgraaff confirmed the beginning of the end saying
“The series is proof that a little dream can change the trajectory of many people – all one has to do is return to one’s own unique talents. For the entire cast and crew of Isibaya, the honour of telling the story of what seemed to be the tumultuous taxi industry which connects people to home, also really became about coming home to our own quest for excellence as individuals and as an industry.”

It boasted of stars like Nomzamo Mbatha, who is now in Hollywood, Jessica Nkosi, Siyabonga Thwala, Thusi Mbedu, Sdumo Mtshali, Pallance Dladla, Thuso Mbedu, Enhle Mbali and Menzi Ngubane..
This week the stars of Isibaya all took to social media to bid farewell to the soapie and the fans in emotional tributes, which left everyone in their feelings.
Isibaya’s ratings were starting to drop and then it suffered a further heavy blow when there was a mass exodus of main characters, who were leaving for other soapies, like Siyabonga Thwala who played Mpiyakhe Zungu and Menzi Ngubane who played Judas Ngwenya among others.
We hope the team behind Isibaya will bring forth another televenola with riveting storylines.
