Buyers Assistant (Wine and Liquor)

The purpose of the Buyers Assistant role is to support the delivery of the Wine and Liquor strategic and commercial objectives through the efficient and effective execution of all operational and administrative functions related to the buying process. Key responsibilities include capturing buying-related data on the system, placing orders, processing purchase orders and invoices, handling administrative and data queries from vendors, suppliers, DC’s, and stores and quality-checking all information inputted and captured. The role works collaboratively with the Buyer and Buying team to ensure commercial targets are met and requires a highly organized and detail-orientated individual with good energy and drive to deliver on expectations and get things done.

Store Team Lead (Apparel)

The purpose of the Uniq Team Leader role is to manage and build the new Uniq apparel brand, drive an outstanding service culture, oversee store standards, operational excellence, and develop service, sales, and stock strategies alongside the Uniq team. The role supports the Store Manager in all facets of the store operations and takes full accountability of the store during scheduled shifts and/or in the absence of the Store Manager. The role executes stock management and merchandising plans, manages loss prevention and related mitigations, encourages the achievement of sales targets, and focusses efforts on return customer traffic to the store as a key indicator of success. The role oversees and supports a team comprising Sales Consultants and Associates who offer helpful, and accurate product information, instore customer support and ultimately work together to deliver a convincing and competitive experience as ambassadors of the Uniq brand.

Fleet Controller

Key Duties Include

  • Conduct on-the-road training/coaching and driver assessments to ensure that drivers follow the regulations of the road and adhere to the Company’s standards.
  • Directing drivers daily to the correct premises of clients for the deliveries.
  • Ensuring that maps with the right directions to the customer’s location are copied for drivers when they report to the office.
  • Tracking of all company vehicles at all times.
  • Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are serviced within the allowed service intervals.
  • Ensuring staff under your control maintain a high level of service to customers.
  • Ensure maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, fuel, etc.
  • Ensure that accidents and incidents are properly investigated and documents are submitted timeously.
  • Ensure that training documentation, such as attendance registers and feedback reports, are administered effectively and efficiently.
  • Create and maintain monthly reports for the National Logistics Manager.
