Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of Training and Development Officer which has arisen within the Human Resources Department.
Job purpose:
· To facilitate and administer training and development programmes of the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among others:
· Consolidates outcomes of the Training Needs Analysis and prepares the annual training calendar for submission to the Training and Development Manager.
· Receives brief from Training and Development Manager, and conducts research on products and processes to be included in internal competency assessments, and provides recommendations to Training and Development Manager.
· Designs and prepares internal competency assessments to be administered through the E-Learning platforms, and submits to the Training and Development Manager.
· Identifies suitable venues for training and development programmes and makes recommendations to the Training and Development Manager.
· Conducts and/or facilitates training and development programmes.
· Develops training content and publishes this on the E-Learning platforms for all staff.
· Liaises with external vendors on content requirements.
· Trains all staff on the use of, and provides first level technical support for all online learning portals.
· Prepares all induction programs and submits to the Training and Development Manager.
· Advises the Finance, Administration, and ICT departments of new staff requirements (such as office space, equipment, furniture, network set up).
· Coordinates and conducts guided tours for new staff.
· Compiles training and development statistics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, in liaison with the Training and Development Manager as well as the HR Business Analyst.
· Consolidates all post training evaluations, and prepares recommendations for submission to the Training and Development Manager.
· Conducts monthly course reviews for all online courses, to ensure that the content remains up to date and in-line with the Bank’s current product portfolio.
· Meets with LinkedIn Learning Relationship and Customer Success Managers on a monthly basis to review utilization data, as well as make recommendations based on departmental needs.
· Analyses feedback reports such as Internal Audit reports, Customer Insights Surveys, and Employee Engagement Surveys to identify any training and development requirements, and submits recommendations to the Training and Development Manager.
Qualification, Skills and Experience:
- First degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent.
· 2 to 4 years’ experience in Human Resources.
