FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND GEOSCIENCES
DEPARTMENT OF FUELS AND ENERGY ENGINEERING
Qualifications and experience
Journeyman Class 1 in Electrical Power
Diploma electrical power Engineering
A BTech/BEng/BSc Degree in Electrical or electronic Engineering will be an added advantage
Vast hands-on experience in workshop practice
At least I year of experience as a trainer or as an instructor at higher education and or tertiary education levels will be advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be required among other things to:-
Set up a fabrication engineering workshop
Install, test, commission new electrical equipment.
Repair and maintain workshop equipment/tools
Carry out electrical and instrumentation related lab work and projects.
Train students and conduct research and any other duties
