KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Formulation for both short and long term mining plans for Underground Operations.
Providing technical services to the Underground Mining Operations.
Carrying out major projects for optimization of Mining Operations.
Monitoring overall mine productivities to enhance continuous improvement.
Ensuring Compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
Compilation of annual budgets for the Underground Mine Department.
Ensure strict adherence to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Formulation of Life of Mine (LoM) plans for the Underground Mining Operations
JOB SPECIFICATION
Bsc Honours Degree in Mining Engineering
Full Blasting License
Six years post qualification experience especially in coal mining, underground and opencast
At least 3 years in supervisory positions underground or surface mining
Registered with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe
Highly computer literate and familiar with the mining software like SURPAC Ellipse, MIMS
