Vacancy Manager: Assistant Operations Manager
Purpose of the job
Implement marketing, operational and business strategies for the BancEASY in order to optimise customer satisfaction, increase customer numbers and achieve the business’ short and long term objectives.
Main Focus Areas
1. Sales Management
- Yearly, monthly, weekly and daily sales activity planning for Productive Sector Loans.
- Sales controlling, monitoring, analyzing, taking actions by using appropriate and standard tools.
- Team sales coaching and mentoring.
- Implementation of Customer sales processes.
- Appropriate usage of marketing tools (pricing, communication, local PR, product mix management, optimisation of sales points and distribution channels).
- Implementing and managing profitability of the distribution strategy BancEASY.
- Management of credit, operational and market risk.
2. Operations
- Day to day responsibility for the selling activities ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure all accounts and loans are captured and reconciliations are correct.
- Responsible for handling specific client issues related to Front office operations.
- Prepare and submit Portfolio reports as and when their due.
- Attend to Audit issues within BancEASY
- Build up, maintain and improve efficient service level related operations and processing to quality objectives.
- Determine and ensure adherence to policy, service levels, controls and checks.
3. Service, Data and Process Quality Management
- Implement BancEASY country service level agreement.
- Conduct monitoring, measuring and analyzing activities in accordance with BancEASY Service Level Agreements (SLAs) program.
4. Manage Human Capital
- Train, develop, appraise, mentor, and coach staff.
- Supervise and monitor the work of the BancEASY staff.
- Appraisal and contracting of staff.
- Employee leadership, motivation and career planning.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- A minimum First Degree in Microfinance, Accounting, Business Studies, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience at Supervisory level in a Microfinance Environment”

- Knowledge of full Microsoft packages a must
