Job Purpose To co-ordinate and manage the implementation of Programming activities in Social Business Unit in line with the Foundation’s objectives. • Ensure cross cutting themes are mainstreamed in all the organisation’s pillars. • Mobilization of and conducting trainings to build capacities on supporting enrolment, retention and completion • Provide mentoring and coaching to beneficiaries through support and supervision visits. • Identify and build linkages, relations, collaborations and networks with partners and other stakeholders in implementation at the SBU level • Participation in SBU coordination meetings to influence decisions on Human Capital Development • Organize periodic partner and stakeholder monitoring visits. • Conduct advocacy campaigns for Human Capital Development in general and girl child empowerment in particular • Conduct school mapping and peer group mapping and document for project activities Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences , Business Studies or equivalent • Possession of a Masters or equivalent an added advantage • Be a self-starter with ability to work independently • 3-5 years’ post graduate experience in a development environment focusing in the areas of education, health, rural transformation and sustainable livelihoods amongst others. • Good communication, report writing, financial analysis and presentation skills. • Good analytical, entrepreneurial and change management skills • Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages and knowledge of SPSS and Tableau an added advantage • Must have working knowledge of online training or learning management systems • Clean Class 4 Drivers licence an added advantage. Key Result Areas • Plan and coordinate all SBU based project activities in consultation with the Regional Manager • Plan and implement school and community based project activities in the area of Human Capital Development. • Develop activity concepts in line with the detailed annual operation plan, the budget. • Organize meetings and workshops for beneficiaries and field facilitators to implement education, health, disaster risk education and rural transformation and sustainable livelihoods activities and models. • Track and manage budgeted activities and ensure timely and cost effective projects implementation. • Produce timely, accurate, compliant and quality reports • Participant in project management meetings and reflection forums • Support and participate in SBU education, health, disaster risk reduction, rural transformation and sustainable livelihoods advocacy initiatives • Conduct, facilitate community awareness and raising community mobilization on rural transformation and sustainable livelihoods • Ensure cross cutting themes are mainstreamed in all the organisation’s pillars. • Mobilization of and conducting trainings to build capacities on supporting enrolment, retention and completion • Provide mentoring and coaching to beneficiaries through support and supervision visits. • Identify and build linkages, relations, collaborations and networks with partners and other stakeholders in implementation at the SBU level • Participation in SBU coordination meetings to influence decisions on Human Capital Development • Organize periodic partner and stakeholder monitoring visits. • Conduct advocacy campaigns for Human Capital Development in general and girl child empowerment in particular • Conduct school mapping and peer group mapping and document for project activities
