Municipality of Marondera invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill in vacancies which have arisen in the Municipality's Clinical Services Section. Interested applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements:

REPORTS TO: THE NURSE IN CHARGE

Duties
Among other duties, the successful applicant is expected to:

Monitor patient's condition and assess their  needs to provide the best possible care and advice.

Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and address them accordingly.

Collaborate with colleagues to devise individualized care plans for patients.

Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections and fill in patients' charts

 Prescribe and administer patient's medication and provide treatment accordingly.

Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing advantage. surfaces, preparing beds etc.)

Offer antenatal, labour/delivery and postnatal care to families.

Administer immunizations. 

Offer HTS. 

Provide instant medical care in emergencies.

Supervise nursing and midwifery students. 

attending educational workshops, conferences etc. 

Work/Educational Requirements

• Diploma in General Nursing
Diploma in Midwifery is an added advantage
Current registration with Nurses Council of Zimbabwe with a valid Practicing certificate.
Aged 40 years and below.
Must have at least 2 years nursing  experience.
Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge.
Expand knowledge and capabilities by Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task. 
Compassionate with good communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Able to work under minimal supervision.
