Applications are invited from competent suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position based at Corporate 24 Hospital Bulawayo along Josiah Tongogara Avenue between 8th and 9th street. Responsibilities: • Assessing patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans • Assisting in performing procedures • Observing and recording patient vital signs • Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly • Administering intravenous fluids and medications • Ordering diagnostic tests • Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment • Acting as patient advocate • Providing education and support to patient families Job Requirements • The incumbent should have a genuine desire to help and care for others. • Good interpersonal skills. • Ability to work and remain composed under pressure. • The ability to pay thorough attention to detail. • The ability to use computerised systems. • Good team working skills and decision making skills. • A serious understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality. • Knowledge of disaster management Ability to speak Ndebele Qualifications • Diploma in Nursing • Current Practicing Certificate • At least 3 Years’ Experience. • Basic/Advanced Cardiac Life Support a must • Qualifications • Post basic either ICN or Midwifery will be an added advantage
