A local non-governmental organisation whose work revolves around promoting Women and PWDs participation in local development in Masvingo is looking for a Programme Intern to start as soon as possible. Recruitment is currently being conducted and the incumbent is preferably to be residing in Masvingo. Job Summary This position is a great opportunity to produce external communications and work on the ground on community development issues. Job Responsibilities Develop monthly work plans; Compile, record, and file field level data from monitoring tools and accountability systems using relevant and appropriate computer packages and information management systems; Data collection, capturing, Cleaning and analysis; Coordinating focus group discussions with the participants and questionnaire administration; Assist with the analysis of data and writing of reports; Coordinating workshops, community dialogue and evaluation meetings; Create videos and other multimedia communications to supplement news stories; Performs related duties as required Qualifications Studying towards bachelor’s degree in Media and Society studies or Communications, Development Studies degree and any other related and relevant Programme; Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills; Attention to detail; Self-starter who can take direction and contribute ideas; Community development knowledge/experience a plus; Knowledge of standard workplace technology
