ICAP at Columbia University, is a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Program Specialist to be based in Juba, South Sudan. Reporting to ICAP Deputy Country Director in South Sudan and secondarily to the Senior Portfolio Manager in New York, the Program Specialist provides project management and operational support to the ICAP South Sudan country office in support of donor-funded program activities.
We are looking for a candidate/colleague who has Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline with 5+ years of progressive demonstrated experience in overseeing public health programs and implementation of research. He or she must have vast experiences in managing health systems programs with an international organization, in the context of a developing country and emergencies especially an in-depth knowledge of South Sudan’s public health sector and national and state health systems is a plus.
