Immediate Supervisor: Programmes Manager Background A local non-profit organization registered and operating at the national level in Zimbabwe is looking for a Program Intern. The Program Intern will be responsible for the following: Specific Duties and Responsibilities Plan and implement media and advocacy initiatives/campaigns of the organization; Ensure up-to-date, efficient and effective documentation and dissemination of information; Content creation and management of social media platforms including the website as well as Newsletters; Ensure adverts and press statements are sent to the relevant print media houses on time or shared with mailing list on time; To compile quarterly reports on all programmes for submission to the Programmes Manager; Identification, tracking and addressing of advocacy issues at national, provincial and local levels; To establish and maintain networks and collaborations with relevant civil society organisations and government departments/ministries and representing the organisation at various fora; To perform any other duties as assigned by the Programmes Manager and Executive Director Qualifications and Skills A degree in Journalism/Media, Law or any Social Science discipline. Experience in media and advocacy in the NGO and governance sectors will be an added advantage.
