Knowledge: A degree in social sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute. A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience at a similar level in Education, Community Development, and Child Rights programming Knowledge of programming issues that include child protection, education and disability trends A Class 3 or 4 Driver’s licence. Ability and willingness to ride a motorbike. Skills: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment Excellent networking and partnership building skills Good communication, facilitation and report writing skills Strong team-building and motivational skills Strong negotiating and influencing skills Proficiency in MS office tools Behaviours: Demonstrates clear respect to all and especially children without discrimination Ability to develop, motivate and coach and mentor others Promotes innovation and learning within the child rights realm Communicates clearly and effectively on child protection issues Assertiveness and shows cultural sensitivity
