Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust (PZAT) is an independent Zimbabwean entity registered as a local Trust in August of 2012 (MA/909/2012). PZAT strives to transform the lives of people living with and affected by HIV by working to ensure their access to quality and comprehensive HIV and sexual health services delivered in safe and supportive environments. PZAT has led and engaged in several programmatic and research activities focused on key populations in partnership with the MOHCC and academic, local and multinational partners.
Job summary
PZAT is looking to engage a Community Led Monitoring (CLM) Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be based in Harare but covering PEPFAR supported districts in Zimbabwe where Community Based Organisations (CBOs) will be engaged. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day delivery of the project is on track and meeting its objectives. S/he will manage the preparation and timely submission of program reports and other documentation for sharing with stakeholders. S/he will oversee all logistical aspects of CLM program implementation by the CBOs, work closely with the subgrantees selected to conduct CLM activities, and act as the liaison between the CBOs, ACT and the CLM Steering Committee. S/he will follow up on advocacy issues raised at all levels for implementation by the advocacy coordinator.

October 2020 to September 2021, renewable upon availability of funding
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate and convene national CLM steering committee (e.g., secretariat role); Collaborate and coordinate with other entities in the CLM space to ensure that there is no duplication of efforts; Facilitate COP 2021 community engagement and regular community consultations; Participate in the “Treatment Literacy: Re-Articulating U=U” project steering committee to ensure the voices of communities are appropriately articulated in the products developed through this public-private partnership supported by BMGF, J&J, and PEPFAR; Incorporate outcomes and messages from the “Treatment Literacy: Re-Articulating U=U” project into revisions of the patient treatment literacy manual and patient charter; Disseminate CLM results with relevant recommended actions for remediation at local, national, and international levels on a quarterly basis; Consolidate of the CLM results to identify trends and barriers to accessing HIV services across sites on a quarterly basis; Document and disseminate best practices (e.g., successes of CLM, successful programs identified during CLM visits, etc.); Effective information flow among ACT, 15 CBOs and CLM partners; Support finance team ensuring that project requests and expenditures by ACT and partners are reasonable, allowable, and allocable; Ensuring project delivers expected results and meets the set targets; Be a link between ACT and CLM partners and stakeholders on all PEPFAR CLM program operational issues; Resource Mobilization for ACT; Reports to the Advocacy Coordinator and Technical Advisor.
Qualifications, experience, and key competencies required
A Master’s degree in Social Studies. A post graduate qualification in advocacy or related disciplines is an added advantage; 3-5 years NGO working experience in HIV/TB prevention, care and treatment programs. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in PEPFAR programmes and understanding of PEPFAR/CDC/USAID rules and regulations is a must. Knowledge and experience in HIV & AIDS program monitoring and evaluation. Experience in Capacity building and mentoring to promote community-facility linkages is required. Excellent planning and organizational skills, Competent in multi-level stakeholder engagement; Advanced oral & written communication skills, Proficient in computers and Microsoft packages; Comprehensive knowledge of computer software to support program implementation. Excellent participatory training skills, inter-personal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively is key. Proficiency in at least one statistical software package e.g. STATA, SAS or SPSS. Analytical skills and excellent writing, reporting and presentation skills, including fluency in English and one or more of the local languages spoken (e.g. Shona and/or Ndebele) is a must. Clean class 4 Drivers License
