 Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above mentioned post. We are looking for a new Principal and Content Management Specialist to join our OMNI LEARN platform and foster a healthy learning environment for our students. Your primary responsibilities will be to supervise our education staff and oversee day-to-day school operations. The Principal should be able to make quick decisions under pressure and have a comprehensive understanding of the national education system and its regulations. You will also be responsible for making follow ups on the content developed by the educators, making sure that the content provided for the students will be in line with educational requirements and while also making sure that everything is up to date and readily available on the E-learning platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include the following:-

1.      Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.

2.      Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current Zimbabwean education trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.

3.      Ensuring & reviewing instructor curriculum and syllabuses & making sure they are aligned with Ministry of Education outlines

4.      Using social media and helpdesk to help and engage students/parents with regards to content being taught,

5.      Responding to syllabus/curriculum questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.

6.      Suggesting new educational ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

7.      Setting performance objectives for students and teachers

8.      Implementing and monitoring school policies and safety protocols

9.      Overviewing administrative tasks (e.g. updating employee records together with HR)

10.  Overseeing day-to-day school operations

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum Job and Person specification

·        Master’s degree in Education

·        3years minimum experience as a principal or in a similar role

·        Familiarity with ZIMSEC and Cambridge curriculums

·        Teaching License

 

Competences and Personal Attributes

·        Knowledge of school administrative processes and national educational regulations

·        Hands-on experience with MS Office and education management systems

·        Experience creating strong, engaging content.

·        Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.

·        Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills

·        Team leadership

·        Strategic and conceptual thinking skills
