Bachelor of Science Honours in Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship and Management

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics and 2 Advanced Level passes in Commercial and/or Science subjects including one of these (Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics, Food Science, Geography, Accounts, Management or Business.

Special Entry:

• A relevant National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized Institution.

Mature Entry:

• Five ‘O’ level passes including English and Mathematics plus 25 years of age and 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Interviewed by Faculty Board mandatory prior to admission. 

Bachelor of Science Honours in Clothing Fashion Design

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English, two A’ Level passes or their assessed equivalent.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Clothing and Textiles, Fashion Designing and other related areas from an accredited and recognized institution.

Mature Entry:

• 25 years and at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Five ‘O’ Level subjects, including English Language and Science

Bachelor of Science Honours in Mathematics

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• At least two Advanced Level passes including Mathematics or its recognized equivalent (Mechanics, Statistics, Pure Mathematics) plus at least five Ordinary Level passes/ National Foundation Certificates including Mathematics and English Language OR National Certificate.

Special Entry:

• National Diploma and Higher National Diploma

Mature Entry:

• At least 25 years plus work experience.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Nutrition Science

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry;

• At least 2 Advanced Science Level passes which include Chemistry, Biology or Food Science. At least 5 ‘O’ Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field. Five Ordinary Level passes which include Mathematics and English.

Mature Entry:

• 25 years of age and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field. Five Ordinary Level passes which include Mathematics and English Language.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Science

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics and Advanced Level passes in any two of the following subjects or their recognized equivalents: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geography or a relevant National Certificate from an accredited Institution.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from an accredited Institution. Mature Entry: At least 25 years of age, with at least five years relevant working experience.

Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics, two ‘A-Level passes in Commercial subjects.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from recognized institutions or equivalent.

Mature Entry:

• Applicants should be 25 years of age and have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field. Five ‘O’ level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Systems 

Entry Requirements:

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics and a minimum of 2 ‘A-Level passes in Mathematics and Computer Science or any other relevant Science or Commercial subject.

Special Entry:

• Special entry may be granted to applicants with a National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science or any related field from a recognized institution.

Mature Entry:

• Should be at least 23 years of age and should have at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience. Other (indicate)

Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Finance

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics, and 2 ‘A-Level passes in Commercial subjects.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance from a recognized institution.

Mature Entry:

• Applicant should be 25 years of age and above, and 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Five ‘O’ Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics

Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Marketing

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics, and two ‘A-Level passes in Commercial subjects.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing from recognized institutions.

Mature Entry:

• Applicant should not be less than 25 years and at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field. Five ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics. 

Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Business Management

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics, two A’ Level passes in Commercial subjects

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Studies from recognized institutions.

Mature Entry:

• Applicant should be 25 years of age and have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field. 5 ‘O’ Level subjects, including the English Language.

Bachelor of Education Honours in Agriculture

Normal Entry:

• Certificate/Diploma in Education where Agriculture is the main subject. Five ‘O’ Level passes including English.

Special Entry:

• Holders of National Certificates/National Diplomas/Higher National Diplomas in Agriculture from recognized Agricultural Colleges having 5 ‘O’ levels may also be admitted to this programme

Mature Entry:

• 25 years and above and 5 years of related work experience. Five ’O’ Levels including English.

Bachelor of Science Education Honours in Biology

Normal Entry:

• Diploma in Education from an accredited and recognized institution or equivalent. 

Bachelor of Education Honours in Business Studies

Normal Entry:

• Diploma in Education with Business Studies, or equivalent as a major course

Bachelor of Education Honours in Family and Religious Studies

Normal Entry:

• A Diploma in Education or equivalent, with Religious Studies or Bible Knowledge as a major subject.

Mature Entry

• Applicants should be 25 years and above and have 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Five ‘O’ Level passes including English. 

Bachelor of Science Education Honours in Mathematics

Normal Entry:

• Diploma/certificate in Education or equivalent from an accredited and recognized institution.

Bachelor of Education Honours in English

• Five ‘O’ Level passes including English language and a Diploma/certificate in Education in which English is a major subject.

Bachelor of Education Honours in Early Childhood Development (Pre-Service) 

Normal Entry:

• At least two ‘A-Level passes and 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English, mathematics and Science

Bachelor of Education Honours in Early Childhood Development (In-Service)

Normal Entry:

• A Diploma/Certificate in Education from an accredited and recognised institution or equivalent.

Diploma in Early Childhood Development

Normal Entry:

• A minimum of Five ‘O’ level passes including English, and Mathematics or equivalent. Science is an added advantage

Bachelor of Arts Honours in English and Communication

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Level passes or assessed equivalent including the English Language, and at least two ‘A-Level passes including Literature in English or equivalent. 

Bachelor of Arts Honours in Religious Studies 

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Level passes including English or equivalent, and at least 2 ‘A-Level passes including Religious Studies.

Mature Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Level passes in English. Applicant should be 25 years of age and have 5 years of relevant work experience.

Bachelor of Arts Honours in History

• Requirements Five ‘O’ Level passes including English or the assessed equivalent and at least two ‘A-Level passes including History.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Peace And Security Studies

Normal Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels including English and two ‘A-Level passes

Mature Entry:

• Five ‘O’ level passes including the English language. Candidates must be at least 25 years old and at least have 5 years of experience in the area of Peace studies

Bachelor of Science Honours in Dietetics 

Normal Entry

• Five ‘O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics or equivalent, and two ‘A-Level passes including Biology, Chemistry, and/or Food Science.

Special Entry

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.

Mature Entry

• Five ‘O’ Level passes including English. Candidates must at least be 25 years of age and have 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Health

Normal Entry

• Five ‘O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics or equivalent, and two ‘A-Level passes in Biology and any Science subject

Special Entry

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.

Mature Entry

• At least 25 years of age and must have relevant experience. The applicant may be subjected to an interview.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Nursing Science

Special Entry:

• National Diploma in General Nursing and a minimum of 2 years work experience. (Prior knowledge and clinical skills shall be acknowledged and credited) Five Ordinary Level passes including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject. 

Bachelor of Arts Honours in Theology

Normal Entry:

• At least 2 ‘A-Level passes, and at least 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language or assessed equivalent.

Special Entry:

• National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field subject to Faculty assessment.

Mature Entry:

• Five ‘O’ Levels plus at least 25 years of age and 5 years of experience in the relevant field. Other (indicate)
