About

SIVIO Institute’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion focuses on growing entrepreneurship across Zimbabwe. It does so through establishing a networking ecosystem for emerging entrepreneurial ventures, providing entry-level entrepreneurial training through blended learning, whilst broadening the definition, role and practice of entrepreneurship to consider social entrepreneurship. To meet the above objectives SIVIO Institute is currently enrolling for its 2021 training programs with enrollment for the NextGen Entrepreneurship Advanced Course. The course will be especially useful for individuals who are already in business and want to formalise operations, explore new opportunities, expand or implement strategies for growth and scaling.

Course Summary

NextGen Entrepreneurship Advanced Course is intended for businesses that are 1 to 4 years old and ready to grow. Trainees will be expected to have the capacity (data and hardware) and ability to learn online; Attend all the online lessons; Submit written assignments and engage in-group discussions; Develop a 12 month business portfolio for their enterprise using training guidelines.

Content Covered

The course will cover the following topics: Formalizing a business and becoming compliant; Opportunity identification; Doing business in times of uncertainty; Key principles for financial management; Scaling strategies; Planning for export markets; Branding and brand ownership; How to build multigenerational wealth; How to integrate a business into the digital landscape.

Qualifications

The NextGen Entrepreneurship Advanced Course is open to people who have been running businesses for between 1 and 4 years old; Trainees must be able to access and use a computer.
