REPSSI is the leading African Psychosocial Support organisation and is inviting applications from suitable candidates for an M&E Intern position. REPSSI’s vision is that all girls, boys and youth enjoy psychosocial and mental wellbeing. The organisation has strong partnerships with governments (particularly the ministries responsible for Social Services, Education and Health), development partners, international organisations and NGOs in thirteen countries of East and Southern Africa. REPSSI is registered in Zimbabwe as a Private Voluntary Organisation, PVO No 10/12. For fifteen years, REPSSI has provided technical capacity enhancement to its partners to strengthen communities’ and families’ ability to promote the psychosocial wellbeing of their children and youth.
Position summary
The Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative seeks to identify and recruit 1 M&E Intern work for the duration of one year to assist in project planning, monitoring and quality assurance, managing data to enhance project quality and management.
Job description
The M&E Intern will be expected to: Assist in data management and quality assurance; Assist in reporting and drafting visual representations for use in reports and presentations; Assist in collecting, managing, and using data to enhance project quality and management: Entering the targets and achievements from the social workers in the database and tracking achievements against targets for donor indicators, Routinely updating to the project team on the targets/achievements of the partners or other information to ensure the information needs of project team are met; Performing any other duties as assigned including: joining the administration team for administration tasks as needed, preparing and delivering trainings and events.
Qualifications
Any Social Science Degree (Statistics background will be an added advantage); Certification in project monitoring and evaluation is desirable); Proven experience in some of following areas: Design and use of program monitoring tools, Data quality management, Database management; Strong oral and written communication skills in English; Exceptional attention to detail; Strong computer skills.
