Childline Zimbabwe

Creation of sustainable Livelihoods and Durable solutions for young Refugees and Host communities in Zambia and Zimbabwe is a project being carried out by four project partners in a consortium. Caritas Zambia and Lifeline/Childline Zambia implementing the project in Zambia while in Zimbabwe the project is being implemented by Childline Zimbabwe and COPAZ with support from terre des hommes Deutschland e.V.

The implementing organisations, led by Childline Zimbabwe, are seeking the services of an M&E consultant to provide ongoing capacity building support to the project implementing partners. The assignment is expected to be conducted from 1 March 2021 to 31 December 2023.

Qualifications and experience

The qualifications and experience required is as follows; A Degree in Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation and Statistics or related studies; A postgraduate degree in research and or monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage; At least 10 years working experience in M&E related issues and/or development context; Experience in project planning using a logical framework; Proven track record and experience in developing MEAL plan, tools and processes in an international development/humanitarian environment; Experience of providing leadership, support and guidance on MEAL across development projects; Knowledge of programme design or similar frameworks for monitoring and evaluation; Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects; Good management and coordination skills, and experience on technical project implementation; Excellent written communication skills; Strong analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data; Excellent organizational and time management skills required to meet deadlines; Ability to work independently and as part of a team and Evidence of having undertaken similar assignments.
