Description Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions which have arisen at the NATIONAL OIL INFRASTRUCTURE COMPANY OF ZIMBABWE (PVT) LTD MECHANICAL

The position is responsible for carryout preventive and planned routine maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair, refurbish or replace defective plant and perform corrective activities as required to restore plant and equipment performance

Carrying out preventative planned maintenance routines on scheduled plant and equipment

Recommend improvements to plant which address safety and plant improvement

Working towards improved equipment reliability as well as availability

Ensure that breakdowns are resolved in the shortest possible time

Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

Work/Educational Requirements

5 "O" level passes including English Language and Mathematics National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Apprentice Trained Mechanical Technician,

Journeyman Class One

At least 3 years relevant experience in the plant environment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Through understanding of PLC, SCADA, process control and PID systems

Understanding of Quality Management System ISO 2015 and environmental,

Health, safety requirements

Sound knowledge and a background in petroleum systems,

Automatic Tank Gauging and bulk loading
