QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: A relevant degree, eg Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics. Associate Actuary or Qualified Actuary and member of a relevant actuarial body (eg FASSA / AMASSA, FIA / FFA. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: •At least 10 years relevant work experience in the financial services industry. •Experience in a life insurance product environment. •Previous management experience is preferred. •Knowledge of actuarial guidance, the regulatory environment and the commercial landscape of life and funeral insurers. •Actuarial modelling techniques; Prophet or similar; VBA, SQL or Qlikview will be advantageous.
